Our Story
Diaferia s.r.l. was established in Modugno, on the outskirts of Bari, with a clear vision: to combine Puglian craftsmanship with the innovation of textile architecture. Built around a production facility specialised in high-frequency welding and computerised membrane cutting, the company quickly earned a strong reputation for quality in the local market.
Growth was driven by continuous investment in state-of-the-art CNC technology and expanding in-house design capabilities. Diaferia developed the expertise to manage complete turnkey projects — from initial consultation through to on-site installation — becoming a single point of contact for architects, public bodies and private clients across Italy.
The company's international reach grew through projects completed across Europe and the Mediterranean, reinforcing the reputation of Italian craftsmanship in architectural membrane structures. Industry certifications further underlined Diaferia's commitment to manufacturing excellence and environmental responsibility.
Today Diaferia s.r.l. is entering an exciting new phase: alongside the founder, who remains the beating heart of the company, the next generation of the Diaferia family has taken the operational helm. Antonio, an engineer trained at the renowned Bauhaus-Universität Weimar with over ten years of international experience in textile architecture, leads the technical and design direction — bringing a global vision forged on projects across Europe and the Mediterranean. Vincenzo, a membrane structures specialist deeply rooted in Modugno, ensures day-to-day operational excellence. Father and sons, tradition and innovation: Diaferia is a Puglian company with European ambitions.

Foundation
Diaferia s.r.l. is established in Modugno (Bari) with a production facility specialised in HF welding and membrane cutting.
First Major Project
Completion of the tensile canopy at Taranto port: 5,000 m² and national recognition.
Production Expansion
New 3,000 m² facility, state-of-the-art CNC lines, team grown to 50 people.
ISO 9001 Certification
Achieving ISO 9001:2015 certification and opening of commercial office in Milan.
ISO 14001 & Internationalization
ISO 14001 environmental certification and consolidation of presence in 10 European countries.
ETFE Leadership
